Acts as a product analyst for Priority Health web products. This includes working with business stakeholders to build support and elevate issues, as well as contributing feature suggestions and usability requirements to the product owner for future web functionality and usability.
Executes product's life cycle activities, including, but not limited to participating in the development process, validating that the product meets the quality required for production, and gathering and formalizing project requirements.
Responsible for the day to day decision making regarding each product's status, including support for issues that arise, as well as ongoing enhancements to the products. This role requires both a understanding of features required to meet future needs as well as a short term focus on improving and supporting each product.
Handles vendor selection when necessary for product support or enhancement and ensures external resources work successfully with internal staff when required.
Responsible for both release management (e.g. schedules, features, users) as well as quality assurance tasks in conjunction with the internal QA team.
Works with business stakeholders and UI/UX teams to ensure products have a consistent UX aligned with brand direction and marketing initiatives across all supported digital channels.
Monitors and analyzes product data on an ongoing basis to uncover trends and correlations impacting the usage and effectiveness of the digital product. Works with analytics and technical teams as necessary to communicate actionable data to business and technical product stakeholders.
Develops an in depth understanding of the business applications and product functionality and recommends improvements to product stakeholders.
Works with the project team to ensure meaningful metrics are captured and analyzed throughout the product lifecycle, including reviewing specifications, developing KPI’s, and resolving issues.
Participates in product improvement studies in order to measure outcomes and evaluate services.
Full participation in the Software Development Life Cycle whether a traditional Waterfall method or an Agile approach.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Based upon user needs, and a sound understanding of applicable business or clinical systems and industry requirements, formulates and defines average to large project scopes and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve problems, considering software applications capacity, resource availability, operating time and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Participates in project leadership by documenting scope and defining implementation procedures. Provides technical project management, often leading work on new implementations and upgrades of related systems, and handling multiple projects simultaneously. Documents and drives best practices throughout the system. Staff members in this position are effective and self-sufficient in working within a diverse technology. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
o Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent
o Three to five years of digital experience in web, mobile or social media.
