Business Systems Analyst working with Kronos support team on multiple small to medium projects. Projects could include enhancement efforts as well as implementations for Kronos modules such as accrual, timekeeper and attendance. A BSA on the Kronos team will partner with customers on projects by performing requirements gathering sessions and business process analysis. Resource will be responsible for executing project deliverables within scope, project timeline and project cost.
Serves as a liaison between business and Kronos team
Develops an understanding of issues and identifies opportunities for improvement through process, people or technology based solutions
Elicits and documents business requirements
Translates business requirements and conceptual design into functional specifications
Coordinates the development and execution of testing strategies
Works with other IT resources to ensure accurate creation and execution of application project & implementation plans
Develops and/or consults in the creation of application documentation & training materials
Work Experience/Skills Required:
3+ years’ experience in HRIS/HRIT
3+ years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst role
Strong customer focus skills to work with users on defining needs, addressing issues and answering questions
Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent projects while providing realistic delivery dates and managing customer expectations
Strong ownership and accountability skills
Strong initiative and self-starter to work on projects with limited management oversight
Experience leading small to medium projects in a team environment
Experience developing test plans and scenarios
Strong conceptual, analytical critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Proven experience working with complex systems and the solution development life cycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Experience authoring detailed business requirement documents
Look for optimization of business process
Be forward-thinking and identify gaps of requests customers want today and how that may impact future decisions
Connect customer to impacts of decisions – Don’t be an order-taker, help them find the best solution
Work Experience Preferred:
5 or more years of experience working in Human Resources environment payroll, time collection.
Experience supporting Kronos Workforce Solutions.
Configuration experience in Kronos Attendance module.
Knowledge of business payroll/timekeeping practices
Bachelor Degree in Information Systems (or related IT degree) OR 5 + years’ experience with the Kronos application.
