This position bridges the gap of understanding between the business and technology. Incumbent will analyze client business challenges, and in partnership with various technology teams, will recommend, design, and develop solutions to address business need. Incumbent will serve key role in improving the process of transitioning company strategies into well-defined tactical activities that drive business results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Interview customers to define and refine business needs through requirements gathering and analysis which will be used to define project scope Monitor, control, update, and coordinate changes to existing projects while summarizing and communicating project status information and producing effective management reports, as needed Create and Maintain repository of all requirement documents using BluePrint and iRise solutions Interface with cross functional groups to communicate and ensure successful project deliverables and manage expectations responsiblyInterface with cross functional groups to communicate and ensure successful project deliverables and manage expectations responsibly Translate detailed business requirements into use case and/or functional requirements and functional design specifications by interfacing with development and architecture teams to clarify and refine requirements Ensures continuity of services by serving as a subject matter expert on business functionality and impact of system changes on multiple product platforms

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA ®) and Scrum (CRM1) required. Additional certifications in Agile or Scrum strongly preferred.
Experience: Three (3) years of business analysis experience required. One (1) year project management required. Experience in the financial and credit card industry required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Proficiency in documentation using Blueprint, iRise, Microsoft Office, Visio, Snag-It, Unified Modeling Language (UML) Practical knowledge of the following: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and .NET and/or MySQL, Visual Basic, Delphi, or Java Practical knowledge of web based applications Ability to perform detailed data mapping, data modeling, and process flows Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills coupled with a passion for delivering high quality enterprise software systems Ability to gain consensus through mediation, find creative and innovative solutions to issues and day to day challenges and identify issues and propose possible resolutions Ability to facilitate meetings, give presentations utilizing various audio/visual aids, facilitate discussions, negotiate and build consensus with limited supervision Knowledge of financial modeling concepts in order to support the development of detailed financial business propositions when needed; Cost/Benefit Analysis Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully in verbal and written formats with individuals and groups Ability to work with team members to establish, plan, track and control a project in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities/projects and meeting deadlines in a timely fashion Excellent organizational and time management skills
