We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst in Bay Area /Southern California. The Job details:
Provides oversight and direction to less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other business systems analysts.
Coaches, motivates and guides team members.
Utilizes best practice processes around work assignments, project management, and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance.
Builds relationships with customers to improve services and ensure service levels are being met.
Has full functional knowledge of area of responsibility.
Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to executives. 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills.
Undergraduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience
Support the IMS technology towers in their business operation by understanding and helping prioritizing their projects and initiatives Ensure quality and timely completion of critical projects and initiatives
Manages projects scope, requirements, Customer expectations and deliverables
Manages Business Systems Advisor resources allocated to projects and initiatives
Anticipate risks and issues and develop preventive measures
Escalate risks and issues to IMS technology towers
Develop cost/benefit analysis on projects as well as opportunity/risk analysis
Ensure project management principles are applied to all projects
Lead Business Systems Adviser team
