ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Clinical Research & New Solutions develops, deploys and manages programs and capabilities rooted in health decision science. This department serves clients and patients through programs and services that support better drug choices, better pharmacy choices, and better health choices. The department includes Knowledge Solutions, Consumer Solutions, Customer Solutions, Research & New Solutions and Clinical Services.
The Technical Analyst is responsible for support of internal and client facing reporting applications. Support activities include; trouble-shooting issues, identifying and authoring requirement documents, user acceptance testing, training, and monitoring ongoing performance of apps/systems and defining modifications according to business needs.
Perform Business Analysis –Collaborate with IT, QA, Account Management to understand business needs, analyze solutions and define requirements for system enhancements.
Requirements documentation – Write business and functional requirements documentations including use cases, test plans, test cases, and data mapping documents.
Perform QA\UAT testing to validate that business requirements are satisfied by the development solution.
Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve applications issues
College degree in Information Systems or related field
2+ years experience in an analytical or technical role
Knowledge of database concepts
Data Analysis and SQL skills (ability to write basic SQL queries)
Demonstrated ability to define requirements for solutions to meet business requirements.
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
Extremely detail oriented with a strong customer service focus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with health care or PBM industry very helpful.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines and support production activities.
Knowledge of Business Objects including universe development is a strong plus
