The Business Tech Specialist 1 provides the technical support for the Ministry Service Center (MSC). Ensure efficient and compliant procedures and processes are in place to support the MSC objectives are achieved, if not exceeded.

  • Ensure desktop configurations and applications adhere to AHIS standards; Troubleshoot and document PC operating system, printing, configuration, and software issues; Set up and maintain system security while complying with security policies and coordinating with stakeholders on process improvements, periodic reviews and audits
  • Provide Level 2 customer service support on for MSC Associates software and hardware, audio-visual, security system issues through AHIS ticketing system; Provide intermediate diagnostic support of integration for the MSC infrastructure, applications and related services; Act as link between centralized AHIS Helpdesk and MSC Associates to track project deliverables and/or resolve issues; Successfully handle most moderately complex, escalate issues that cannot be resolved to management
  • Plan and organize work so the Service Level Agreement objectives are realized; Contributes ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of team’s processes
  • Understand and apply Business Technology processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards; Provide analytics such that Ministry Service Center Associates can effectively leverage their knowledge to better fulfill their mission
Education & Experience:
  • 0-3 years experience
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
