Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the entire operation of assigned facility, which includes safety, human resources, financial, environmental, quality, production, transportation, maintenance, engineering and community relations.

General Responsibilities:

Assure that on a daily basis all RockTenn values, standards and Customer Commitments (i.e.; sales, quality, R&A, safety, employee relations, on-time delivery, reporting etc.) are followed within the plant.

Develop and implement action plan for increasing plant income (i.e.; sales, creating efficiencies, etc.).

Control cost within budgetary limits to achieve profitability.

Work closely with sales manager in developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts.

Provide a vision for the plant strategically linking resources of the facility with its respective markets.

Prepare and submit reports as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Communicate routinely with Regional Vice President and area leadership team and complete written reports as required on a timely basis

Experience/Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree. Previous business-to-business sales experience in a manufacturing/service industry with supervisory, management or coaching responsibility. Minimum of 10 years related work experience, with five in a leadership role
