Position Summary
This position is responsible for the oversight of all quality control testing functions within each Servicing functional unit; will ensure that change and remediation action plans for the functional areas are initiated and implemented with proper controls and that communication is issued to all impacted stakeholders; will also serve as a subject matter expert for all functional areas for internal and external reviews. This role will report into the Vice President of the Servicing Management Team for each functional area within Servicing and in collaboration with other Servicing Quality Control Managers.

Responsibilities

Ensures that quality control programs for all business and third party servicer provider functions reporting into the Vice President are implemented consistently and in accord with the Servicing Quality Control program framework. Anticipates problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed. Assures the viability, functionality and effectiveness of key controls within each functional unit.

Monitors the daily work product, ensures on-going education, and reports quality control errors for all business and third party servicer provider liaison quality control staff reporting into the Vice President.

In collaboration with other Servicing Quality Control Managers, continually seeks to implement ongoing quality improvement processes. Develops and manages quality control metrics for performance measurement and improvement of all functional units.

Works with other Servicing Quality Control Managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for jointly owned Change Request Action Plans on items such as communication and training, policies and procedure revisions, IT system integration, and quality control verification.

Serves as a representative for the business unit stakeholders at the Change Management Meeting.

Works with other Servicing Quality Control Managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for jointly owned Remediation Action Plans for items such as communication and training, policies and procedure revisions, IT system integration, and quality control verification.

Serves as a representative for the business unit stakeholders at the Remediation Meeting.

Provides effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to approved Change Request Action Plans and Remediation Action Plans for all business functions reporting into the Vice President, including the Third Party Servicer Provider Liaisons.

Fulfills internal and external examination requests within all required timelines and, prior to submission to Operational Control, reviews artifacts for completeness and compliance to policies and procedures for all business and third party servicer provider functions reporting into the Vice President.

This role requires employees to successfully complete annual mandatory training requirements and department specific training, as defined by management. In addition, Managers are accountable for completion of training of personnel within their departments or functions.

Works on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required.
A minimum of five years of experience in a quality, auditing, or compliance role in a mortgage or financial environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multi faceted responsibilities.
Ability to manage to multiple timelines.
Ability to lead projects through to completion.
Ability to work in an environment that is reliant upon time sensitive delivery and adherence to high quality standards.
