DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: Sesonal position from May to Oct. 1 Clear and reset tables, carry dishes to and from kitchen area, seat guests as directed, reset tables, sweep, dust, clean and assist wait staff. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Cleaning agents and equipment. All food and beverage equipment, and wine bottle opener. NATURE AND SOURCE OF SUPERVISION: Receives working direction from the Dining Room Manager and Assistant Managers.

DUTIES

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards. * Follow all laws, health codes as set forth by Federal and/or State laws or codes (whichever applies). * Clears, cleans and resets dining room tables. * Assists in seating guests as directed. * Takes full bus pans to kitchen; restocks wait stations as directed. * Refills water, coffee, beverage for guests. * Assists guests with highchairs and booster seats; cleans after use. * Remove table linen, sort and bag (without overloading bag) * Fold linen napkins; stock linen into wait stations. * Empty dining room trash. * Sweep floors at end of shifts. * Dust window sills, chairs, tables and all ledges. * Assist in buffet and brunch set up. * Mop as assigned. * Performs other related duties as directed or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

PREREQUISITES: * Education: High School Diploma; secondary education preferred; must have current Washington State food handler's card. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * One-year similar experience in fine dining room. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, supervisors and employees. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines; must provide company approved slip resistant shoes. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, kneel, handle, reach and squat. Extensive walking on hardwood floors. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility. Must withstand exposure to wet floors. Must be able to continuously lift approximately 25 pounds without assistance. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of park life.
