The Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Marketing Manager will lead the planning and implementation of all marketing activities and programs in support of the C&I Sales Channel. As such, the C&I Marketing Manager will act as the key interface between the Marketing and C&I Sales teams to insure effective planning and coordination of activities and will act as the “Go To” person for all marketing questions related to the C&I Sales Channel.

The C&I Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing an overall marketing strategy and translating that strategy into a calendar of activities and programs. Key areas of focus include: marketing planning, direct marketing and lead generation, telemarketing, event support, and marketing and sales communications. The C&I Marketing Manager will also work closely with other members of the Marketing team as well as other functional areas to support a variety of Marketing and company-wide initiatives. This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

Specific areas of responsibility include:
•The planning and implementation of a comprehensive Marketing plan in support of the C&I Sales Channel that delivers upon key objectives of Sales and Marketing Management
•Develop and implement a calendar of highly effective direct marketing lead generation campaigns that lead to closed sales and highly positive campaign ROI’s
•Develop actionable business analysis and recommendations to address specific Marketing and business issues and questions
•Support Sales activities through development and execution of sales collateral and sales presentations
•Provide event management for tradeshow and company sponsored events
•Act as a primary point of contact for Sales Leadership for Marketing guidance and support. Work collaboratively with Sales Leadership to develop Marketing programs in support of Sales and
Marketing financial goals
•Provide Marketing expertise and support across all traditional Marketing disciplines
•Management of internal and external agencies to insure timely and on-budget execution of Marketing plan elements
•Develops and manages the C&I Marketing Budget
•Development and implementation of a comprehensive C&I Marketing Plan that supports specific Company, Marketing and Sales objectives
•Development of effective lead generation and integrated marketing programs designed to increase sales while building brand awareness and image
•Proactively provides expert advice and guidance on market priortization and customer targeting
•Provide Marketing Team leadership for the C&I Sales Channel but also across other parts of company helping drive the influence, impact and effectiveness of the Marketing function
- Strong B2B Marketing experience with a focus on building and managing highly effective lead generation campaigns as well in addition to strong across-the-board Marketing skills
- Proven success in working with cross-functional teams using influence skills to get the work done
Relevant Work Experience:
- Knowledge of energy industry preferred but not required
- Effective PM and time management skills are critical
- Demonstrate drive, initiative, creativity, leadership and a willingness to go the “extra mile” to get the job done
Required Skills:
- At least 5 years experience with a Marketing agency or major company Marketing department
Education Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
