Support 1-3 Workout Officer III and IVs in overseeing their portfolios of distressed commercial real estate loans to assist in achieving optimal resolution more quickly and effectively. Collaborate with Workout Officers in crafting asset strategy, restructuring proposals and preparing term sheets for negotiating with Borrower.
Underwriting – includes financial and transactional analysis, forecasting’s, valuations, IRR modeling and other assignments as requested by Workout Officers. Prepare concise, compelling written analysis and recommendation for internal approvals with direction from Workout Officers. Collaborate with Workout Officers to dynamically maintain risk ratings, reserves, accrual status and forecasts.
Credit administration, includes completing high quality management reports (SCRs, FABBs, etc.)maintaining risk ratings, verifying covenant compliance, following up on going reporting from borrowers, analyzing interim financial results, annual reviews and verifying accuracy of bank record keeping.
Documentation – assist in review of loan documents; work with loan administration and borrowers to resolve any open documentation matters.
Assure compliance with CFG Commercial Credit Policy and GRG procedures.
Other tasks as requested by Workout Officers to assist in expeditiously resolving credits assigned.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
3-5 years experience in lending and credit. Preferable some experience in a workout team.
BA or BBA degree preferred.
Experience in protecting credit exposures in the context of various state and local laws as well as the US Bankruptcy Code.
Highly proficient technologically including strong PC skills especially in excel, as well as work and /or similar business software. Superior aptitude to rapidly learn Bank’s systems supporting underwriting and portfolio management.
Strong analytical skills and detail oriented

Functions well in a fast-paced, learning environment that requires a blend of independent initiative and teamwork.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
