Radiology Supervisor, Shift Supervisor and Director of Radiology
Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and documents PACS imaging. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing call types of procedures. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Ability to work with patients of all ages. Clinical experience performing CT scanning is documented. Ability to perform CT procedures without constant supervision. Ability to assist with specialized procedures involving sterile techniques. CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support), State License-Radiology Technologist
