As the Cafe Manager you will be responsible for managing a café operation. You will be responsible for supervising staff, ordering, and inventory cost controls as well as supporting the General Manager with financial responsibilities. Additionally, as part of the management team, you will be responsible for the following
Train, manage, and develop hourly associates.
Assist with catering events.
Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Bon Appetit's culinary and marketing team.
Audit p&l controls such as declining purchasing budgets, labor vs. sales, and pricing.
Hold monthly employee meetings to discuss topics such as safety, customer service and quality.
Bring innovative ideas to the management team to drive sales. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
Two plus years of previous management or supervisory experience.
Previous experience managing cost controls is helpful.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office, internet, and email.
Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company.
