Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg is currently looking for a Cage Shift Manager to join the team.
SUMMARY: Directly supervise Cage Cashiers and Supervisors to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with Company Policies and State Gaming Commission regulations. Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the cage on a specific shift. Monitors and mentors Red Carpet Service to all staff members and guests.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Supervise all cage and vault cashiers and supervisors: Train, oversee, evaluate, schedule, and counsel.
Responsible for handling scheduling issues and/or cashier and supervisor issues.
Strong supervisory skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Assist in handling customer problems.
Prepare/review currency transaction reports.
Verify vault accountability at end of shift.
Verify credit line availability.
Work as a cashier and/or in main bank as needed.
Monitor the cage cashiers and the main bank, as well as supervisors.
Assist cage attendants and supervisors as needed.
Verification of main bank and window cashier drawers.
Monitoring of window, main bank and supervisor breaks.
Assist the Cage Manager with new hire training.
Prepare fills and credits for live games.
Prepare jackpots and fills for slot machines.
Prepare customer deposit and safekeeping log.
Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
Successful completion of iLead Training Classes.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 21 years of age
Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Cast Member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Cast Member is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The Cast Member must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
