The Case Facilitator (CF) is responsible for making contact with a set number of former Students (approx. 50) within a specific Paramus market area. This involves driving around a market area, finding residences and having direct conversations with the identified former students.
This position is not about getting the former student to pay their loan, but rather to offer them a solution by putting them in touch with a Loan Specialist.
Once the CF gets the Loan Specialist on the phone, they are responsible for collecting the loan paperwork from the former student after they go through the forms on the phone with the Loan Specialist.
The goal is to make at least 5 attempts in contacting the student. If contact with a friend or family member occurs, the CF will attempt to set up a follow up appointment with the former student. If no one is available, a door hanger with contact information will be left for the student. After 5 attempts, the packet of information may be left for the student. If students are no longer living at the residence, that case is considered closed.
CFs will be given a prepaid cell phone and will be reimbursed for fuel and parking. A polo shirt will be issued and will be worn with khaki shorts as a uniform.
