The CBM Informatics Engineer will have hands on involvement in driving key programs past milestones into maturity.
In addition you will:
Execute and Lead software programing, tool development, and database infrastructure
Be involves in cross-functional team engagement to include Services, Parts, Design, Reliability, PGS, IT, and others
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering or technical position
Ability and willingness to travel to GE sites as needed

Gas turbine design, operating, or field service experience
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification
Experience in data structuring, query logic build-up, analytics development
Understanding of database architecture, Oracle Developer, and SQL
Power Generation Industry Experience with a focus on Combined Cycle Power Plant and related equipment experience
Demonstrated project management skills, including initiative and interpersonal skills, to drive projects of cross-functional nature to completion
Mater's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
Experience in total plant services including repair technology and processes
eNPP & NPI process experience / knowledge
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Ability to quantify deliverables in terms of business/financial value
Self-starter with initiative and interpersonal skills to direct projects and work, of cross- functional nature, with demonstrated ability to completion.
Ability to work well with teams and communicate requests and requirements clearly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Understands business objectives and drives specific tasks required to meet the objectives
