Responsibilities:

Provide the guidance to ensure that employees are working safely and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Leads a shift of Operators so that they are achieving the necessary quality and production standards within their assigned areas (CA and AR/AM). This includes following all SOPs and quality processes.

Efficiently administers the Performance Management process so that Operators are performing in a Quality or Exceptional manner.

In concert with the area Specialist, area Unit Leaders, and Process Improvement Engineers, ensures that all technical questions and problems are addressed in a proactive and efficient fashion.

Develops the skills, knowledge and abilities of Operators through necessary coaching and training.

Qualifications:

Experience in effecively managing safety systems, including Process and Personnel safety, in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Proven leadership skills

Knowledgeable of the processes of the assigned work area.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Embraces change, and can effectively manage complex changes with Operators.

Ability to resolve conflict / differences in a "win-win" manner.

3-5 years experience in a leadership role required.

High School education or equivalent; A.S. or B.S. preferred.
