Description

This position is responsible for participating in the design, build, implementation, training, evaluation, testing and maintenance of Cerner Millennium and all Escription applications. Must be able to perform all other tasks assigned by the Project Manager, Project Director or Applications Director. Establishes and maintains relationships at the appropriate level between AHS and Client, in order to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution benefits, etc. Day to day responsibilities involve researching tickets and contacting end users to work thru the user issues. Work on project build for Dolbey, Escription and Cerner Millennium to meet project deadlines. *

Qualifications

o Work experience in a healthcare environment

o Experience with Escription applications (Emon, Editscript and Netscript)

o Experience implementing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a hospital

o Experience working with Health Information Management (HIM)

o Superior communication skills

o Experience involved in complex projects

o Team player

o Experience with CPOE - helpful but not necessary

o 1-2 years of experience in the Medical Records (HIM) field is required.

o 1+ years of experience with Cerner Millennium Applications (in-box config, Clinical Reporting XR and HIM profile apps)
