General Summary: Performs routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other department's functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains BHRS and RTF member files, records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems. Retrieves files upon request.
Tracks and coordinates files for BHRS and RTF being sent to offsite storage.
Files outpatient request forms, retro-auth request and family based requests.
Photocopies, files and posts information.
Adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA policies and procedures in relation to files.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Relevant Work Experience: 0-1 years of experience in office environment. Basic computer skills required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
