Clerk II acts as a receptionist and must demonstrate good guest relations with patients, physicians, staff, auxiliary departments, community agencies and the public. The Clerk II maintains effective telephone and written communication for the Administration offices as well as other clerical duties.
Education, Training, Licensure and Experience Requirements
- Answering phones/relaying messages
- Copying as needed
- Greeting guests/customer service
- Stamp Parking tickets
- Check requests/Food Service requests
- Performs necessary typing tasks
- Performs necessary errands as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or Equivalent
On the job training
Knowledge of medical terminology
Basic computer skills
Ability to use multi-function phone system and handle several calls at one time.
Good writing, spelling and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
