Position is full time, 8:00a to 5:00p, with Transportation and Parking Services. Individual will pay close attention to detail and have excellent organizational skills. Telephone support is necessary to answer customer inquiries. Individual will provide information with a focus on data entry, maintain working knowledge of parking policies and programs and maintain the confidentiality of all customer records. Excellent computer skills are necessary.
Sell and collect payment for parking decals, permits and parking citation and reconcile all transactions on a daily basis.
Accurately record all customer and sales/payments information and prepare documents supporting sales/payments, return decals, charge adjustments and revenue refunds.
Serve a first point of contact for customers of Transportation and Parking Services both in person and via telephone. Be prepared to explain policies and procedures to all customers and facilitate their parking needs.
Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as may be assigned.
A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Attainment of a score of at least 35 cwpm on an approved typing test.
