The Department of Health Sciences at Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College invites applications for a full time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Clinical Associate Professor. Primary responsibilities will include teaching and advising in the undergraduate major in Health Science, carrying out scholarship, and service. The Health Science undergraduate curriculum provides students with a strong background in the biological aspects of health, specialized quantitative methods used in research programs related to health care, disability access issues, an overview of health care systems, and a broad perspective on population-level health issues, particularly in the realm of global health. The program interacts extensively with other disciplines at Sargent College to offer an inter-disciplinary framework to its students.

Applicants should have a PhD, ScD or MD, a strong record of scholarly activity and expertise in one of the curricular areas noted above, as well as experience in, and a commitment to, teaching and further developing an undergraduate program in Health Science.

The College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College offers undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs in a wide range of health-related fields.
