Job Title: CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR OF PSYCHOLOGY
Department: Psychology, Sociology, & Social Work
Job Summary The faculty member will serve as Coordinator of the Practicum in the MS Counseling Psychology Program and teach 6-9 credit hours of graduate practicum course per semester. Also, the faculty member will maintain relationships with current field supervisors, recruit new field supervisors along with new practicum sites.
Duties Duties include maintaining existing relationships with site supervisors, cultivating new practicum sites and site supervisors, monitoring and evaluating practicum students' performance, meeting with local as well as distance learning students in practicum classes, documenting practicum students' hours, and collaborating with department faculty
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Applicant should be capable of using word processing software, have a working knowledge of video conferencing techniques, and be able to use BlackBoard.
Qualifications Master level degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, or Social Work; two years of post-degree professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Licensure as a mental health professional; college-level teaching experience.
