Case Coordinator position for the Child Protection Team. Works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate diagnosis, evaluation and treatment in cases of suspected child abuse and neglect. Headquarters to be in Brooksville.
Interviews children, family members and significant others as needed to obtain medical and psychosocial information. Will follow child through the process of intake, interview, medical exams and follow up. Will be present with medical personnel for clinic visits, hospital visits and participate in oncall including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Completes assessments and sends reports to the protective investigators within the timeframes consistent with the program requirements and best practice.
Coordinates client services and referrals to community agencies.
Arranges and conducts team staffing and participates in the development of recommendations. Will host, organize, lead and summarize staffing.
Provides depositions and court testimony as required. Conducts training for the community as assigned by the Team Coordinator.
Master’s degree in a appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Valid Florida driver’s license and access to personal vehicle required.
