Primary Function & Major Responsibilities The Reporting Analyst is responsible for writing reports and identifying advanced reporting needs with various business units across the organization. This Reporting Analyst writes reports that range from operational reports used on the units to large data extracts that populate the enterprise data warehouse for analytics support of performance improvement and research. Meets with application coordinators and business units to understand their reporting needs. Creates design specifications for new reports. Identifies and validates the appropriate technological solutions for various reporting needs. Creates new reports, using a third-party report writing tool, to display Clarity data. Modifies existing reports, as necessary and reviewing upgrade documentation related to Clarity features and released Crystal reporting content and determining how to implement the changes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or area of functional responsibility preferred, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
3-5 years of proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling / mapping, methodology development, and data modeling. Proven experience with reporting tools, software, and other applications (TOAD, Business Objects, SQL Queries, healthcare systems, etc.) Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts. Knowledge of EPIC is highly preferred.Knowledge,
