Northeast Parent and Child Society’s, Residential Children’s Home invites application for a full-time Clinical Team Leader to provide program leadership and coordination of residential and clinical services to youth and families. This includes: developing, implementing, and monitoring the residential program; coordinating the youth’s school program; completing Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing corresponding Positive Behavior Support plans; and the provision of clinical services. Clinical services include: assessment; treatment planning; individual, group, and family counseling; case management, and facilitating the treatment team.
Northeast Parent & Child Society’s Children's Home is a state-of-the-art 60 bed residential center designed to respond to the needs of abused, neglected, emotionally disturbed and behaviorally troubled adolescents (both male and female) ages 11 to 18. The program's immediate goal is to help children and their families stabilize and remediate the safety and risk issues which brought the child into residential care. The program then provides a safe, structured environment for the youth while assisting the youth and his/her family to acquire the necessary coping skills and parenting skills needed to return to a less restrictive level of care.
Skills/Qualifications: Masters degree in School Psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience with adolescents and families preferred. Experience with special needs youth and behavioral approaches preferred. Experience w assessment; treatment planning; providing individual, group, and family counseling; and staff consultation preferred.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with two days 11:00am-7:00pm.
