Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Tech II performs duties in the Lab and X-ray areas along with the administrative responsibilities and duties as a Medical Assistant.

Nonexempt (Hourly - Eligible for overtime)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Work experience may NOT subsititute for minimum education requirement.

High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of related experience required.

CERTIFICATIONS

None required

KSA Written and verbal communication skills

KSA Organizational skills

KSA Interpersonal skills

KSA Knowledge and experience in healthcare

KSA Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing.

KSA Knowledge of medical practice and procedures, medical equipment and instruments to assist in giving patient care.

KSA Must possess effective telephone skills.

KSA Ability to maintain quality control standards (including CLIA and OSHA regulations).

KSA Ability to maintain records and filing systems

KSA Ability to multi-task

KSA Ability to operate various office machines including printers, computers and various software packages

KSA Ability to perform necessary technical skills.

KSA Ability to read and write well enough to proof and perform minor editing of routine office correspondences

KSA Ability to train others

KSA Ability to work as part of a team

KSA Ability to work effectively with the physician, providing medical assistance as necessary.
