A research assistant is needed within the Pulmonary Center to work on multiple

NIH funded research studies.

Responsibilities will include, recruiting, interviewing, data management, allergy skin testing, pulmonary function testing and asthma counseling.

Evaluate possible patients for recruitment into research projects, obtain informed consent.

Complete data entry of research records and other records that are assigned.

Perform patient interviews, follow-up telephone interviews.

Perform pulmonary function testing, asthma counseling, and allergy skin testing and vital signs.

Assist with the collection and processing of biological samples (urine, mucus and blood).

Assist coordinator with regulatory documents and research projects.

Required Skills

Must have a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree is preferred.
