TRAINING
: Must be trained in quality management system and associated documentation as applicable to this position.
: Must be trained in the use of measuring instruments and machine tools in a production environment.

: Must have a working knowledge of G code programming.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the inspection of product
Must abide by and enforce all safety rules.
Perform calibration of measuring tools and equipment, including managing the Gage Calibration Recall System.
Perform Hardness testing on materials received from Heat Treatment. Complete, record, and store forms related to Hardness testing.
Inspect and approve First Article parts from various operations within the shop. Coordinate with appropriate personnel any non-conformance resulting from first article inspection. Complete, record, and store forms related to first article inspection.
Conduct receiving inspection on raw stock such as extrusions, stainless steel and aluminum stock for adherence to applicable specifications. Complete, record, and store forms related to Receiving inspection.
Conduct receiving inspection on all parts coming in from outside processing. Complete, record, and store forms related to Receiving inspection
Visually inspects for damage and workmanship and checks to see that all requirements of the Engineering Drawing and Manufacturing Planning and (or) Quality Plan have been met.
Prepares rejection tags noting nonconformance from blueprints or specification. Stamps or otherwise approves acceptable parts and completes paper work as required. Will Identify parts as required by manufacturing planning.
Must abide by and implement Company Quality Management System.
EXPERIENCE
: 10 years of hands on CNC and conventional production Machining and programming. Or a combination of related experience in an aerospace environment equaling not less than 10 years total.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
: Must abide by and help enforce all safety rules.
: Must have own tools required for performance of his/her job.
: Is responsible to maintain CNC programs in the company library as required by the AS9100 quality system.
: Must insure that all programming data and programs are used and retrieved/stored in a manner that insures the security of company's intellectual property.
: Must maintain/update all setups and tool lists and maintain revisions of same to the latest configuration.
: Responsible to notify supervisor if there are any discrepancies with the product/paperwork or problems with the tooling/machines.
: Responsible for making redline/blackline changes to programming documentation.
: Create, edit and up-date Job Notebooks.
