Job Description:
Set-up and operate most jobs on all CNC equipment within a cell with minimal supervision in accordance to set-up sheet, blueprints and operation sheets per customer requirements.
Set-up and operate most jobs on manual machines when required.
Trouble shoot set-ups and programs when necessary, document changes per procedure.
Makes most types offsets adjustments to maintain dimensional integrity.
Documentation of set-ups on to set-up sheets.
Verify the revision level for the current operation (Programs, operation sheets, blue prints)
Verify Pc. Count and all applicable documentation for completion of previous operations.
To complete all applicable documentation for the current operation (i.e. Shop traveler sign off and first pc, inspection record sheet and/or AQL and NCMR)
Train lesser grade individuals on all aspects of CNC machining and proper inspection methods
Submit requests to update travelers with changes to routings and runtimes.
Uses shop math to assist in all aspects of the job.
Maintains machine maintenances and log.
Inspection of work with minimal assistance.
Complies with work rules including those pertaining to safety, health, quality system, and Quality Management System.
Participates on various teams to achieve performance metrics.

Required Skills:
This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
3 to 5 years machining experience
Ability to interpret most blueprints and operation sheets.
Able to understand programs on most type of CNC machines
Knowledge of typical inspection equipment and techniques.
Good understanding of shop math. Ability to use trigonometry on blueprints and operation sheets.
Basic understanding of geometric tolerances
Maintain organization to ISO operation procedures.
Complete all job specific required training.
Perform duties to achieve overall business unit metrics.
Comply to all safety regulations, wears appropriate safety equipment as required in each area of the facility.
