Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals is partnering with our client who is a leader in the Aerospace industry.

Prepare, proof and document programs to produce parts on three and four axis sophisticated computer numerically controlled machine tools utilizing advanced computer aided manufacturing programming techniques; implementing state-of-the-art cutting tool materials, geometry, feeds, and speeds to most efficiently fabricate complex machined panels, manufactured from common aerospace materials, to most exacting tolerances.

Primary Responsibilities
Prepare Unigraphics CAM programs for three and four axis NC/CNC machine tools. Develop setup sheets and documentation for new part programs. Proof NC programs, trouble shoot programs, tooling, machining and methods to provide efficient, trouble free future runs.
Proof and trouble shoot programs using Vericut proofing software.
Follow internal methods and standard work to produce and proof programs according to organizational methodology.
Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Required:
Demonstrated experience and proficiency programming with Unigraphics version 6.0.2.8
Demonstrate proficiency proofing programs with Vericut version 7.1.6
Strong knowledge of machining practices and methods when apply high efficiency machining and thin wall applications in aluminum.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Teamcenter knowledge desired

WORKING CONDITIONS – PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT
Typical office environment with frequent movement.
Ability to access, input, retrieve and send information via computer and telephone
