POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs assignments in the planning and administration of the organization's compensation programs. Participates in the job evaluation, performance appraisal, wage and salary management, and incentive programs within established policies. Assists in data preparation for recommendations for changes in the compensation programs to maintain the organization's objectives and competitive position in the marketplace. Partners closely with business and HR leaders to develop effective and sustainable processes and programs. Expected to manage effectively within a complex environment where dealing with some level of ambiguity is required. Regularly interacts with all levels of management. Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
- Bachelor's degree -- Required

Experience:
- Three to Five years compensation experience -- Required
- Payroll experience Preferred
- Healthcare experience Preferred

License/Certificate:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred

Required Skills:
- Must have demonstrated initiative in past performance and be capable in functioning in a fast-paced,
change-oriented environment.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
- Demonstrated experience as a progressive, creative change agent with excellent problem solving and
analytical skills.
- Able to effectively prioritize projects and determine most appropriate course of action.
- Through prior experience must have demonstrated high level of skill in dealing with ambiguous and often
complex work situations.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Strong spreadsheet skills.
- Significant analytical abilities.
- Able to effectively prioritize projects and determine most appropriate course of action.
- Knowledge of employment law, compensation law, FLSA.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of ability to audit and reconcile.
- Database development and maintenance.
