Job Title: Convenience Store Manager
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Harrisburg, IL
Compensation: $45, 000 annual salary, PLUS a sign on bonus!
A Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining operations, oversees and is accountable for the operation of a store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.

Job Duties:
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
  • Analyze and measure business trends; use company reports to track trends and keep records.
  • Develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, adjacencies and presentations, signing, and assortment in all departments.
  • Review store trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures through regular store management.
  • Evaluate and react to performance issues and actively recruit management candidates.
  • Train and develop employees; direct and monitor training and development for all store personnel.
  • Responsible for scheduling, payroll, inventory, shipping/ receiving, and all other management facets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by district manager. Job Requirements:
  • Previous management experience is required; convenient store management experience preferred.
  • Have excellent customer service skills in a variety of situations.
  • Must meet requirements of computer and cashier skills based testing.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. On a regular basis.
  • Must meet requirements for background and drug screening policies.
