Provide support services to a Correctional Center Educational Program.
Description of Essential Functions:
1. Prepare memorandums and letters as required. 2. Prepare spreadsheets and enter information pertaining to expenditures on provided software. 3. Create and maintain student records and files. 4. Maintain time records on all full and part time employees. 5. Provide student and registration information to the office of the Executive Dean for input on the campus computer system. 6. Prepare monthly time summaries for all programs. 7. Input attendance, assignments and other information on OTS as required.. 8. Create and maintain vocational reporting records as required. 9. Provide needed information for employee action forms as required. 10. Maintain HS/GED request records as required. 11. Prepare Purchase Orders and requisitions as required. 12. Provide information to the office of the Executive Dean to update Mid Term and grade rosters as required. 13. Prepare attendance forms for full and part time students. 14. Create and maintain file system on all correspondence. 15. Be on site a minimum of 37.5 hours per week (30 minute lunch). 16. Arrive at work site prior to beginning of established shift. 17. Attend both college and facility staff meeting as required. 18. Attend training as required. 19. Observe, support, and enforce the regulations, policies, and programs of the College and inform the President in writing of any problem that might have a detrimental effect on the College. 20. Conduct oneself in a professional manner. 21. Prepare financial reports under the direction of the Associate Dean as required. 22. Notify supervisor well in advanced of absence. 23. Abide by D.O.C. and Lake Land College regulations at all times. 24. Provide assistance in preparing classroom materials for instructors as required. 25. Answer phones and direct calls as required. 26. Act as receptionist in College area and direct traffic as required. 27. Assist institutional personnel during emergency situations. 28. Assist in preparation of EGCC Forms on the eligible students in programs. 29. Input information on OTS for Tuition Reimbursement Program as required. 30. Review attendance records to ensure compliance with EGCC requirements. 31. Assist in administering College Admission Testing as required. 32. Maintain equipment assigned area. 33. Maintain accurate control of keys on assignment. 34. Other duties as assigned.
Specific Functional Job Requirements
Education: Associate Degree Preferred Experience: Computer, Bookkeeping Experience, and Report Writing required. Knowledge: Knowledge of software and computer operation required. Book keeping and clerical functions required. Skills: Highly developed computer skills required. Good communications skills required. Personal: Good Interpersonal Skills. Physical: Must be able to perform routine clerical tasks. Drug Testing Required.
Machines & Equipment Used: Computers, OTS/LAN systems, Typewriters, Adding Machines, Duplication Equipment, Multi-Line phones, and Calculators.
