Occupational Summary

This position will be responsible for delivering the KEYS health
behavior education program reduction within a research setting.

KEYS is
focused on obesity reduction for children and providers in the family
childcare home setting.

The counselor will:

* Be responsible for making
independent decisions in research participant case management,
developing coaching and counseling plans using Motivational
Interviewing, and tracking participant progress.

*Coordinate and deliver
health behavior workshops within research participant communities.

*Run
the day to day activities of the clinical trial, including scheduling
and following up with participants, following study protocols, keeping
accurate and detailed study records, and entering data into an Access
database.

*Report any and all deviations and adverse events to the
Intervention Manager and keep the Intervention Manager informed of study
progress and problems.

*Participate in KEYS program/process evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Work requires a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education or a related field. Experience

One or two years of experience in social work, employee assistance counseling or related setting and clinical licensure. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Competitive Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work or public health with one year of related counseling/coaching/research
experience highly preferred.
