Northeast Parent & Child Society, one of New York State’s most innovative human service agencies, invites applications for a Temporary Weatherization Crew Chief in Schenectady, NY.

The Weatherization Crew Chief position is responsible for supervising Home Energy Connection (HEC) work crews and subcontractors, performing weatherization work as needed to complete contracted jobs in a timely manner. The Weatherization Crew Chief performs moderately complex duties according to well established policies and procedures, with work priorities determined by Project Coordinator and service needs of the public.

Skills/Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with two years of experience in weatherization installation and supervisory positions. Experience managing construction or weatherization crews; Experience performing weatherization insulation and sir sealing and general knowledge of home construction preferred. BPI Certified Building Analyst. Clean NYS Driver’s License required.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
