Parks and Recreation Department
The City of Coppell is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of a Crew L eader in the Parks Department. Minimum requirements include 5 years of parks and recreation maintenance experience with 1 to 3 years in a lead position . Experience in ball field maintenance and turf grass management preferred. Ability to operate mowing equipment, hand tools, and instruct and lead the work of others. Knowledge of Landscape and Irrigation maintenance. CDL and Chemical A pplicators or DCL & Irrigators license and Turf Manager certification . High school diploma or equivalent is required as is a valid State of Texas driver’s license with a good driving record. Must have good references and a clean background. Drug screen and physical assessment of ability to perform essential functions of the job. Ability to get along with co-workers and general public. Normal work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 am to 3 pm.
Starting Salary $ 19.03 per hour with excellent benefits.
