We are looking for strong analytically-minded Director to manage our analytic team for a leading retailer. The CRM Analytic Director would be responsible for managing multi-channel direct marketing programs and using data to ensure that the CRM analytic disciplines and strategies are in place to allow customer insights to be developed and accurately measured.
Works collaboratively across the enterprise with multiple business units to define strategies, develop implementation plans and deliver customer specific audiences and offers across various channels.
Partners with analytics and technical teams to develop methods to leverage customer data and measure the performance and effectiveness of campaigns.
Comfortable working hands-on with customer data in various data environments. Including selecting lists, aggregating variables, manipulating pivot tables and creating graphs.
Engages with client Executives to drive targeting strategies and promote targeted interactions.
Develops business engagement models and communication approaches to establish a network of change agents within the business units that understand and help in the adoption of CRM techniques
Engages business owners on the value of targeted marketing including personalizing offers, messages and content.
Presents across multiple levels of the organization the value delivered in terms of improved margin contribution, increased offer redemption and increased customer loyalty.
Minimum of 8 to 15 years relevant CRM analytics and leadership experience.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
Experience in fast-moving consumer facing industry working in targeted / database marketing, driving strategies across channels
Intermediate understanding of methodologies used in CRM, such as customer segmentation, targeting, incremental performance reporting and variant testing
Good understanding of the retail business, direct experience as a retail merchant, planner, strategist and/or marketer highly desired
Ability to lead large cross-functional teams and drive decisions informed by data.
Experience with CRM solutions like Unica, Exact Target, a plus with need to understand web analytics (preferably in the retail environment).
Understands consumer products merchandising concepts (advanced understanding a plus).
