Primary Characteristics
The CRM Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Client Relationship Managers in support of loan production for wholesale and correspondent lending. The primary responsibility will be to maximize the number of approved and funded applications and provide guidance on issues that arise between loan approval and loan closing. Maintain a strong working relationship between the sales and fulfillment teams.

Essential Functions
• Oversee Client relationship Managers (CRM) who are responsible for reviewing underwriting decisions, and confirming borrower’s ability to satisfy conditions through mortgage brokers and correspondent lenders.
• Assist in department and corporate audits
• Maintain HMDA integrity
• Implement and maintain operational procedures
• Responsible for developing/implementing/training all employees in the areas of operations procedures, computer e-mail procedures and origination software procedures
• Must work with Sales Manager to keep the department in line w/ budget requirements implemented by management
• Must work collaboratively with other branch underwriters and closing managers
• Establish, document and perform quality control of functionality
• Conduct annual goal setting with direct reports
• Conduct quarterly, mid-year and annual reviews with direct reports
• Provide leadership direction for the development of high performing individuals and teams
• Apply the principles of process improvement to increase productivity that supports working smarter, not harder
• Support Management through the successful implementation of business or process change
• Develop staff knowledge beyond area of responsibility through cross training to provide support
• Coach and Mentor staff
• Ensure and Manage internal and external partnerships and customer experience
• Assist and engage with HR for employee relations
• Serve as liaison between sales and fulfillment
• Compliance review
• Create, run and distribute reports that manage day to day activity for team and service level agreements

Minimum Qualifications
• In depth knowledge of mortgage processes
• Strong understanding of underwriting and investor requirements
• Ability to achieve business objectives through directing the work of others who reside in remote locations throughout the country
• Ability to assess the skills and performance of others and develop skills through coaching and goal setting
• Ability to manage and set multiple priorities
• Ability to motivate and focus the attention of others and self
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Ability to make effective business decisions based on data and process knowledge
• Must be able to work in a fast paced high volume work environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Focused on Quality

Training and Experience
• 5-7 years mortgage operations banking experience
• 3 years supervisory experience or equivalent
• 5 years Customer Service experience
• Proficiency using MS Office Applications
• Degree preferred or career experience in this position
