Associate provides call center support for the Claims Department. The majority of our calls are from insureds, agents, financial institutions and adjusters. Accurate, detailed loss reports for multi-line products is our priority. Efficient in learning multiple computer programs and mainframe system is required. Associate will also answer general questions regarding insured previously reported claims. These questions are limited to check information (when issued, to whom, how much), status of claims (open, closed, waiting on documents), and claims processes. This position requires overtime during Catastrophe situations and assistance with other departmental tasks including, but not limited to, filenet, batch letters, tracking reports, file copies, and special projects .
Required: Customer Service in any field
Preferred: Insurance background helpful.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Required: Knowledge of or ability to pick up quickly on computer programs. Detail oriented, Efficient multi-tasking.
Preferred: AMIG systems knowledge, Use of Excel and Word
Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: College degree or some college coursework
