The Corporate Systems Infrastructure (CSI) within Corporate Technology (CT) is responsible for the management of the infrastructure supporting the CT application portfolio. The CSI organization coordinates with the operation support teams internally within CT and externally in the centralized support groups.
The role of the Infrastructure Architecture within CSI will be to ensure that strategies and roadmaps are developed and promoted that integrate business objectives, application strategies and centralized engineering strategies. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing that strategy across all sub lines of businesses within CT.
In this role, you will be responsible to:
Drive the development of an Architectural Strategy for the CT organization.
Work with the Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) organization across all technology areas (server based, Database, Web, Storage and Network) to define that strategy and ensure that CT feedback is incorporated into all future strategies. Drive the integration of the JPMC / GTI standards and practices into the CT Architecture Strategy.
Facilitate conversations with the various CT Application Architecture and Development teams to gain feedback on strategy and requirements for GTI standards
Coordinate with the various Application Architecture and Development teams to ensure the Application strategies are inline with Infrastructure strategies
Facilitate regular interlock meetings with application teams to ensure currency of application and Infrastructure strategies and roadmaps
Provide guidance where needed in product evaluations, design reviews and policy development
Drive/assist in Resiliency reviews at the infrastructure and application layers
Experience in the Financial Industry
10 years of Infrastructure Architecture/Development experience
10 years of experience working with application teams integrating applications
Experience in Oracle, DB2, MSSQL
Experience with LINUX, AIX, RHEL, and Windows platforms
Experience with WebSphere and/or Tomcat
Familiarity with Java and/or .Net development practices and techniques
Ability to blend infrastructure and application layers together giving an end to end understanding of the entire system
Excellent communications skills upward and sideways.
Strong influencing skills
Ability to think strategically but act tactically where needed
