The CaaS Services Engineer will work with customers to gather requirements and implement technical solutions based on those requirements.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

Consult with customers to determine business needs and translate those needs into technical requirements.

Scope requirements into formal Statements of Work.

Communicate and coordinate technical activities with the appropriate CaaS teams.

Document and define success criteria and test plans with customers.

Install and configure Interactive Intelligence applications.

Execute project plans for customer engagements.

Support customer escalations as needed.

Communicate project statuses to customers and distribute project status reports as needed.

Partner with end customers to ensure successful project implementation.

Provide both technical and user training to the customers as needed.

Provide on-site and/or remote cutover support.

Gather and complete support transition requirements for the post cutover support transition.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience OR equivalent work experience.

2 years’ experience implementing or supporting complex software applications in enterprise customer environments.

Expert technical knowledge, understanding, and experience with competency in the CIC product suite .

Good knowledge of the Windows 2008 server operating system and technologies such as domains, Active Directory, and Exchange .

Understanding of data center technologies.

Knowledge of SQLServer , Oracle , Telecommunications , Server Hardware , and/or Database platforms is desirable .

Knowledge of TCP/IP-based networking including routers, switches, network topologies, etc.

Work Context

Travel could range from 0% - 25% to customer and business meetings.

Communicates regularly with peers, colleagues, and management.

Uses the computer frequently.

Communicates with customers, discerns key issues, and recommends solutions.

May install/remove computer equipment in labs.

Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment to determine appropriate solutions to customers’ technical issues.

Possesses and demonstrates leadership qualities and self-sufficiency.

Proven ability to lead a team to meet critical customer deadlines.
