Calibration Technicians for Customer Based Laboratory Work

Calibration Technicians for Onsite Work

Technician Repair/Calibration of Hardness Testers & Mechanical Testing Equipment (force & load) Technician Repair/Calibration of Welding Machines Technician Repair/Calibration of Pressure & Temperature Instruments

Technician Repair/Calibration of Furnaces utilizing methods of Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS) and troubleshooting for adjustments and repairs to gas fired and electric furnaces used in heat treating, stress relieving and other manufacturing processes Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Preparing furnaces for surveys Building and designing test racks, making thermocouples, and maintaining equipment to meet BMS and specification requirements Completing and reviewing pyrometry documentation; documenting instruments used for pyrometry including certification and calibration of the required instrumentation Reading and understanding of ISO 9001/17025, AMS 2750, customer pyrometry specifications and related procedures Bringing any irregularities, discrepancies or concerns to supervisor immediately Promoting and practicing safety and good housekeeping

High School diploma or equivalent 3-5 years experience in thermal processing Experience in ISO 9001/17025, AMS 2750, and customer pyrometry specifications A minimum of 20 classroom training hours and 240 on-the-job training hours specific to pyrometry. (On-the-job experience to be used in lieu of training under certain conditions. A written test is required to demonstrate proficiency) Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in Microsoft Office Word and Excel Able to lift 50 lbs.; bend, lift, climb, stoop, and stand for prolonged periods Precise and detail-oriented Ability to work overtime as required Valid drivers license with a clear driving record Ability to pass background check Strong math skills for measurements and conversions Ability to work to industry and/or customer specifications Military experience a plus Some travel maybe required Ability to work in non-climate controlled areas
