The State Corporation Commission's Clerk's Office is searching for a motivated individual to fill a position which offers an excellent opportunity to gain a wide range of business entity knowledge and utilize computer and telephony technologies in the Call Center. Call Center Associates respond to a large volume of telephone and email inquiries from law firms, government agencies and the general public in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Information provided relates to SCC eFile and data on file in the Clerk's Office pertaining to corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, business trusts and Uniform Commercial Code filings. Starting salary is commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have two or more years of experience handling inbound customer service calls in a call center environment; experience in clerical practices and procedures; and graduation from high school and/or business school. Knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar, office practices, methods, procedures and in the use of a personal computer and its applications is required. Applicants must possess strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills. The ability to pleasantly and effectively answer and screen telephone and email inquiries from customers is essential.
