You would provide a positive experience to customers who contact us by phone or alternate channels, through the Contact Center, to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your main tasks will include:
Accept incoming calls from customers and resolve their issues by collecting pertinent information, informing customer of options and finding an acceptable solution.
Provide customers with a forum to express their concerns and react in a professional and empathetic manner.
Use available resources to educate yourself on products, services and customer interaction techniques.
Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers.
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.
YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include
Proactive and courteous customer approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Broad knowledge of products and services.
Interest in home furnishings.
A clear understanding of, and a passion for IKEA values and principals.
Computer aptitude.
1-2 years retail experience and/or 1-2 years Contact Center experience.
Computer literate
Bilingual- English/Spanish a plus
Someone with the proven ability to:

Additional Information This position is for a Service Advisor position. It begins on July 9, 2012. The schedule for the first 2 weeks will be Monday-Friday, 12:00p – 8:30p. During the call taking phase of training beginning on July 22nd schedules will change to reflected one weekend shift each week and off on Wednesdays until training is complete.
There is an expectation that you will be able to attend all training class dates from July 9, 2012 thru Aug 18, 2012.
Schedule
The core shift for this position after training will be a 32- 40 hour workweek. Your availability should be 1:30p – 11:30pm and it will include 1 weekend shift per week.
