High School/GED
  • The Call Center Technician's role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests and control of the company's server equipment for the purpose of uninterrupted data processing, operating run s, and batch program jobs. This includes monitoring system consoles for error lights and error messages, failures, and network malfunctions. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.

    Education: Minimum of an Associates degree in Computer Science or 2 years relevant experience.
    Work Experience: Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including personal computers and associated peripherals. Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server, Linux and UNIX. Application support experience.
    License/Certification: A+ Certification required
