Job Purpose (Job Summary):

Under the leadership and direction of the Channel Marketing Director, the Campaign Marketer is responsible for the development of marketing campaign population for direct marketing initiatives to customers and prospects. Working with colleagues across Marketing, Sales Strategy and Sales functions, the Campaign Marketer is responsible for identifying the target population, developing the appropriate content and messaging and executing upon the campaign to maximize return on investment, advance clients and prospect through the behavioral sales cycle, and support the achievement of sales targets. To accomplish these responsibilities, the Campaign Marketer leverages data & technical analysis, collaborates with other marketing and sales team members on messaging and works on process development and project manages business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities / Duties : §

Interact and coordinate with Marketing Analytics and Sales Analytics to use existing intelligence, develop campaign metrics, gather data, and improve campaign workflow. §

Leverages segmentation, database of marketing activities and outcomes, sales analytics to develop efficient and effective targeting. §

Executes all cross channel email communications that do not require customization. §

Generates and implements test strategies, including A/B multivariate testing to drive qualified traffic, improve email performance and identify best practices. §

Works with internal partners to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical execution for trigger email programs.

Work Experience / Knowledge: §

Two years directly related work experience in email marketing and/or database marketing §

Experience in the financial services industry a plus §

Familiarity with marketing campaign concepts and customer segmentation §

Strong quantitative and data manipulation skills §

Proficient with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access §

Experience working with CRM systems and add-ons such as, Siebel, and Marketo

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: §

Proficiency in communication and collaboration §

Strong organizational skills and detail orientation §

Strong analytical, problem solving, planning, organizational, and project management skills §

Open minded, flexible, and able to tailor approach to needs of audience and stakeholders in order to achieve objectives

Formal Education: §

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance or equivalent

License/Registration/Certification: §

Not required

Working Conditions: §

Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures. §

Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
