Constructs, forms, maintains, and repairs of variety of concrete and masonry structures using masonry hand tools and power tools. Primary responsibilities will be concrete pouring and finishing; and performs other general building maintenance as required including snow removal.

REQUIRED: High School diploma or GED and Certificate in relevant DOL apprenticed trade OR five years verifiable journey level experience.
A valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by Indiana University.
Possess knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of a variety of masonry structures such as walls, steps, walkways, concrete pads, floors, curbs, exterior and interior surfaces/coatings. Ability to read blueprints and schematics; work in a safe and efficient manner; and use a computer. Possess ability to determine the appropriate tools and equipment needed on the job.
Must be able to successfully complete required training programs; and obtain a CDL license and pass a DOT physical exam within 120 days of employment.
Note: Position may require incumbent to acquire and maintain OSHA required certificates.
Overtime and emergency call-outs on an as-needed basis.
