AppNexus is seeking a campus recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team. Our campus recruiting program is still in its infancy so our recruiters will have the ability to have an impact from their first day and shape our program for years to come. This role requires solid project management skills, exceptional relationship-building ability, creativity and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about technology, will be entrepreneurial and creative to develop, implement and execute our campus recruiting strategy.
What you will work on:
Develop, implement & execute campus recruiting strategy – this includes developing a sound event calendar at various campuses, building relationships with schools, students, hiring managers & career services and managing all the back-end logistics during the recruiting season.
Plan, oversee & execute summer/coop intern programs – this includes identifying top students early in the season, managing all the interview logistics, converting offers into hires & managing the program once students are on-boarded (this includes but isn’t limited to events, mentorship, performance management, onboarding, training, etc.)
Oversee campus recruiting marketing initiatives – build the AppNexus brand at core & non-core schools and position AppNexus as the best place for students to start their careers.
Train AppNexians on campus recruiting and continue to ingrain it into the company culture.
Foster relationships with Students, Faculty & Career Services at all core schools to ensure AppNexus is top of mind on these campuses.
Collaborate with broader recruiting team to ensure our processes are as efficient as possible and AppNexus provides a world class candidate experience.
What we look for:
1-2 years of campus recruiting experience, preferably recruiting software engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and passion for technology – having a deep understanding of the technologies used by our engineering teams will be crucial to be successful in this role.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
Great interpersonal skills, ability to understand the needs of hiring managers and students and translate those into our campus recruiting strategy.
Willingness to learn & hold oneself to high standards.
