Manage the global capacity process within the business unit through completing project resource availability analysis and implementing a uniform capacity model for all subcontractors to ensure available production capacity for all accepted purchase orders.
Support the global sales organizations to ensure there is a clear understanding of all subcontractor current and future capacity.
Conduct resource availability analysis to evaluate and negotiate resource availability, utilization, and according to contract terms.
Facilitate and coach subcontractors to manage capacity through creation of production master plans and schedules and develop correction action plans, if underutilized or overutilized.
Support project managers to ensure subcontractor accountability to the adherence to production schedules.
Develop and support strategies to grow supply chain.
Continuously monitor subcontractor project schedules for progress and accuracy.
Lead and support the development of global capacity strategic improvements.
Serves as a liaison between management, engineering, sales, and subcontractors with regular communication and reporting methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years professional level experience in a plant environment.
